Hi my KSFO Family,
So as many of you heard, we will be welcoming a new morning show on KSFO starting on March 2. As I have said, I always want to be as upfront and transparent with you as possible. Over the last 10 years, broadcasting for you has been the highlight of my days.
Is the news true? Yes, Armstrong and Getty will be your new morning show on KSFO from 6-9am and I know they will be fantastic!
What’s happening with Brad, Sheri and me? Well, Brad has been AMAZING taking care of the KSFO Morning Show family after Brian retired. Having said that, he also has ANOTHER job and a family to take care of. He will always be our “Brother Brad” and I will make sure to keep in touch and let you know how he’s doing.
Sheri, my sister from another mister, will be the producer of the new morning show on KGO. There is no one better in this business with producing, managing and participating in a morning show than her… so I know she’ll be just fine. Plus she’ll only be about 25 ft away from me so I promised her I will regularly throw things at her throughout our mornings.
As for me, I will still be giving you the news and traffic during the new morning show on KSFO. So, while I won’t be hosting, I’ll still be here and will continue to tell you the news, views and traffic you won’t hear anywhere else.
I say this with ALL of my most sincere feelings, you guys are the reason we’re here. We LOVE you guys so much and are so grateful that you’ve chosen to spend your mornings with us. For that, I will never be able to thank you enough.
With a bit of a heavy heart, but excitement for the future, I will say – I LOVE YOU GUYS and I will now hang up on myself.
