Bob Lee, founder of Cash App and the former chief technology officer of Square, was stabbed to death in San Francisco, California, according to reports.
San Francisco Police said in a statement that a 43-year-old man was attacked Tuesday near downtown San Francisco at around 2:35 a.m. Officers arrived at the scene in response to the stabbing and Lee was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Lee’s friends identified him as the person stabbed after the San Francisco medical examiner did not identify the victim.
