The former police chief of Oakland is hitting the court.  LeRonne Armstrong is now a basketball coach at Bishop O’Dowd High School. 

The senior players say he’s been giving great advice as they gear up for their Thanksgiving showcase this weekend. 

Armstrong is still fighting to get his job back, maintaining he did nothing wrong.  He was fired in February after the mayor said he didn’t discipline officers who committed misconduct.
