Waymo is the latest self-driving vehicle company under a government investigation. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration posted documents detailing the probe on its website after getting 22 reports of Waymo vehicles either crashing or violating traffic laws.
The Mountain View, California-based company is operating self-driving robotaxis in Arizona and California. Waymo says it’s committed to safety and transparency.
