The assault of a nine-year-old girl and her mother during a Los Angeles home invasion is being linked to a rape and murder in Maryland. Maryland Sheriff Jeffery Gahler says an illegal migrant from El Salvador is behind both crimes
Gahler says doorbell video showed a shirtless man exiting an L.A. home where the assault allegedly took place in August 2023. Gahler says DNA evidence from that scene linked the man to the 2023 rape and murder of Maryland mother of five Rachel Morin.
Gahler is pointing a finger at the White House and Congress, saying the crimes took place because of failed immigration policies.
