Trump To Iran: “We Will Blow You to Smithereens” If You Threaten U.S. Officials

Donald Trump says the U.S. should tell Iran we will “blow your country to smithereens,” if it threatens to harm a former president or presidential candidate.  Speaking on the campaign trail in Mint Hill, North Carolina today, Trump confirmed he was briefed by intelligence officials about ongoing Iranian threats to assassinate him.  Trump said the sitting president needs to be firm with Iran, or any other country that makes those threats.  He added if he were President again, the world would fear the U.S.
