California is changing the rules for some high school sports after President Trump threatened to withhold federal funds. A transgender athlete from Jurupa Valley was set to compete in the CIF State Finals in the Triple Jump this coming weekend. President Trump called the event unfair because a biological male was competing against girls. He posted on Truth Social that he was willing to pull federal money unless the state banned transgender athletes from competing in girls’ sports. Now, CIF says they will allow the second place-finisher, a biological female, to compete and the event will be scored differently.
