San Francisco is cracking down on homeless people living in RVs. The Board of Supervisors is voting, today, on strict new parking limits. Supervisor Myrna Melgar says the urban camping is creating a dangerous situation. The RV’s, she says, are powered by generators and the gas cans are often stored on the street. The homeless, she says, are fighting with neighbors in working-class neighborhoods. The proposal creates a two-hour parking limit for oversized vehicles.
