More Encino Break-Ins After Neighborhood Safety Meeting

Residents of Encino remain on edge after two more home burglaries Monday night. Police say the burglaries happened during or after a neighborhood safety meeting in the 10 o’clock hour. One was on Enfield Avenue then a few minutes later on Hayvenhurst. In that break-in, a couple, who were not home, called 9-1-1 after seeing burglars inside their home on their security cameras. They come after last week’s double murder of American Idol music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca. Reportedly, there have been at least 13 burglaries reported in the Encino-Sherman Oaks area so far this month.
