Millions of Americans are flying, driving and taking the train the day before Thanksgiving. Wednesday is traditionally the busiest day on the road, and it could feel even busier this year. Triple-A expects a new record, with at least 73 million people traveling by car — accounting for about 90% of all Thanksgiving travelers. Many of the estimated eight-million holiday flyers hope a strong storm system doesn’t derail their plans. Today a winter storm began is hitting Upper Midwest, with blizzard warnings already out for northern Wisconsin through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
