New data suggests San Francisco’s homelessness crisis may be easing. City leaders say the latest numbers reflect progress in reducing visible homelessness, while advocates argue more support and affordable housing are still needed to address the underlying causes driving people into homelessness, especially vulnerable families with children throughout the city every day.
