Former NASCAR Driver Boris Said Behind Luxury Country Club and Racetrack Plans in Lake Elsinore

Lake Elsinore could soon be home to a luxury development featuring a 22-turn racetrack. The “Elsinore Ring” is being proposed by retired NASCAR driver Boris Said. The project would include a 3.2-mile racetrack, country club and condominiums. Said believes the private development could eventually host professional racing events. A legendary road-course racer, Said currently co-operates a BMW dealership in Murrieta. The Elsinore Ring would feature 275 luxury garage condominiums, rooftop helipads and a private clubhouse. Membership is expected to cost about 300-thousand dollars. The proposal is currently in the environmental review phase. If approved, construction could begin in late 2027, with a grand opening planned for 2030. The development is being marketed as a destination for motorsports enthusiasts, combining luxury amenities with private access to a high-performance racetrack. Project officials have not yet announced whether additional approvals will be required before construction can begin.
