This year, the average Thanksgiving meal in California cost more than anywhere else in the nation. That is according to the American Farm Bureau Federation. It reports the average classic Thanksgiving dinner costs 72 dollars, 61 cents in California, compared to 55 dollars, 18 cents for all of the key ingredients in the rest of the nation. The averages are for a meal feeding ten people. Shannon Douglas, president of the California Farm Bureau, cites the cost of agriculture production in the state.
