The Bay Area has been hit by a series of small earthquakes. On early Friday morning, three quakes shook the San Juan Bautista area, starting with a magnitude 3.4 quake, followed by two smaller tremors. On Thanksgiving Day, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck again near San Juan Bautista, along with two smaller shakers. Earlier Thursday morning, two small to moderate quakes also struck near the Sonoma-Lake County border, and another struck in Pacifica.
