Californians may never see records associated with the state’s High Speed Rail project. Plus, a day after Governor Newsom promises progress with the High-Speed Rail, it suffers another setback. Fresno Fire crews responded shortly before 9:00 a.m. Wednesday to a blaze at the Church Avenue overpass in the southeast part of the city, where officials say construction materials caught fire. Workers evacuated safely, and firefighters shut down nearby rail traffic while battling the flames. Authorities say the fire may have started during routine construction.
