Former state controller Betty Yee is dropping out of the race for California governor. The Democrat officially suspended her campaign this morning. Yee had poor poll numbers and says the decision was due to internal polling. Yee says her decision was made late last week and was not a result of ongoing pressure from the Democratic Party. Yee says it comes down to not feeling she has enough resources to get her campaign to the finish line. Yee says she has not made a decision on who she will endorse.
