A debate will take place tonight between the major candidates running to be the next governor of California. It’ll include candidates who are polling above five-percent in recent polls. On the Republican side, the debate will feature political commentator Steve Hilton and Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco. On the Democratic side, it’ll include former U.S. Congresswoman Katie Porter, former Attorney General Xavier Becerra, billionaire activist Tom Steyer and San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan.
