A new poll shows Councilmember Nithya Raman and Mayor Karen Bass with different levels of support among likely Los Angeles voters in the November 3rd mayoral runoff. The Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies poll, co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, found 39 percent of likely voters supporting Raman and 28 percent supporting Bass, while 33 percent remain undecided. The survey found that most voters who supported Spencer Pratt in the June primary have not yet chosen a candidate for the runoff. About 63 percent of those Pratt voters remain undecided. The poll surveyed 2,150 likely Los Angeles voters online between September 15th and 20th. It also found that 63 percent of respondents had an unfavorable view of Bass, compared with 39 percent who viewed Raman unfavorably. Mail-in ballots for the November election are expected to be sent to Los Angeles voters in early October.
