Republicans In Sacramento Say They Got More Support in California During the Last Election

Republicans in California say support for their side of the isle is on the rise in the state. San Diego State Senator Brian Jones, the minority leader in Sacramento, says California also voted against Prop 5.  This would have made it easier to pass taxpayer bonds and voted for Prop 36, which increased penalties for drug and retail theft crimes. State Senator Jones also said voters are rejecting some of the policies from Democrats.
