Anaheim Jewelry Store Owner Scares Off Burglars With One Shot

An Anaheim jewelry store is relieved after scaring off would-be burglars with a single gunshot. The owner of Al-Amira Jewelry says he was locking up last Thursday night when a gang of nearly 20 would-be thieves showed up and began swinging pickaxes and hammers at the front door trying to get in. He says he grabbed his gun, fired a shot and the would be thieves took off. He says he was just defending himself and the protective glass prevented the suspects from getting inside. No arrests have been made.
