Los Angeles County is closer to barring law enforcement officers from covering their faces while on duty. On Tuesday, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors asked its attorneys to draft an ordinance. It would ban law enforcement officers from concealing or disguising their identities while on duty. It comes after recent federal immigration raids in the county. Supervisors say the proposed ordinance would apply to all law enforcement agencies operating in unincorporated areas of the county.
