Constitutionally based rule of law may be in Craig’s blood, as he is a descendant of fifth-generation grandfathers Richard Henry Lee (President of the Continental Congress and signatory of the Declaration of Independence) and revolutionary colonel, John Augustine Washington, while George Washington himself is Craig’s direct great uncle (5th).

Craig was born in August, in the winter, in Johannesburg, South Africa. He spent his formative years in the San Francisco Bay area, graduating from Serra high school, UC Berkeley, and then ultimately Pepperdine School of Law, in Malibu.

Craig has focused on personal injury law for over 25 years, (from first client meeting through jury trial) getting his early start under the tutelage of the San Francisco Montgomery Street law legends Melvin Belli and Arnold Laub.

Craig is a four-time Alcatraz to San Francisco swimmer and a five-time full Ironman triathlon finisher(140.6 miles- 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, 26.2-mile run).-Competing in Lake Taupo, New Zealand- Melbourne, Australia- Cabo San Lucas Mexico-Cozumel, Mexico, and Barcelona, Spain.

Craig is the founding partner of the law firm Ashton & Price-which has offices in San Francisco and Sacramento.
