Google is cracking down on hybrid workers. They were just told to start coming into the office three days a week or it will be reflected in their performance reviews.

The Mountain View tech company will also begin tracking attendance and sending out reminders to anyone not adhering to the schedule. Those already approved to work full-time from home following the pandemic are also asked to reconsider and return.

Meanwhile, Salesforce is using a new tactic to lure workers back to the office. Ten dollars will be donated to Bay Area charities for every day an employee returns.

The San Francisco company will also make a donation for each remote employee who attends an event during this time.

A top official says they’re committed to giving back and hope to help raise one million dollars for local nonprofits.
