The Bay Bridge is back open after a pro-Palestinian protest shut down traffic for most of the morning.

Hundreds of protesters chained themselves to cars earlier and waving signs. Some protestors even threw their car keys into the Bay.

All westbound lanes were blocked, snarling traffic, leaving commuters stranded and backing up traffic for miles.

Chief Ezery Beauchamp with the California Highway Patrol says at least fifty people have been arrested and fifteen cars towed. He says they will press all the charges they can working with the district attorney.
