Russia’s attack on Ukraine had an immediate impact on the stock market.

The Dow Jones plunged by 735 points late Wednesday night, while the S&P 500 dropped 2.3 percent.

It also caused oil prices to surge once again, topping $100 a barrel for the first time since 2014, as analysts fear the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will disrupt energy supplies.

Will it be a short-term or long-term drop?
