President Biden has signed off on bills aimed at improving health care for America’s veterans.

A total of nine bills were signed into law at the White House on Tuesday, expanding cancer screenings and treatments for veterans who were exposed to toxic chemicals while serving near ‘burn pits’ in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The President said “Less than one percent of the population risk everything to defend our nation and our values and everything we hold dear. And the 99% of us who don’t – we owe them. We owe them big.”
