Hunter Biden is being charged with felony gun charges. Special counsel David Weiss indicted President Biden’s son in connection with a gun he purchased in 2018.
The indictment filed Thursday by the U.S. District Court in Delaware charged three criminal counts related to making false statements in connection with the purchase of a firearm and illegally possessing the firearm as a drug addict.
Weiss is also weighing whether to charge Hunter Biden with alleged tax crimes. The charges come after a plea deal fell apart earlier this summer. These are the first charges Weiss has brought against the first son since being granted special counsel status.
