More details are emerging about whether to charge drivers on Bay Area freeways. The Metropolitan Transportation Commission is studying that as one way to ease congestion.

During a meeting last night, experts said the fee to add tolls to all lanes in 2035 would range from ten to 30 cents on highways that run parallel to public transit.

A chart also estimated the cost for driving 40 miles a day, which came out to 270 dollars a month.
