Oakland Retail Theft Ring Bust Announced

By

YouTUbe, @CBS Sacramento.

Law enforcement are reporting breaking up a retail theft operation that spanned much of Northern California. The California Highway Patrol collaborated with Concord police to execute search warrants in Oakland and Galt, which is in Sacramento County. Police say the house in Oakland was being used to store stolen property.

Merchandise was also reportedly recovered in multiple storage facilities and vehicles. Cops also confiscated two loaded guns and over 17-thousand dollars in cash, presumably the proceeds from retail theft operations. The CHP did not reveal how many suspects were arrested and did not name anyone but say the primary suspects were booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
