Former President Donald Trump has a unique promise if he’s elected to a second term in 2024.

When asked by Sean Hannity if he would use the presidency to “abuse power, to break the law, to use the government to go after people,” Trump said he wouldn’t, “Except for Day One.”

When asked by Hannity to elaborate, Trump said on Day One, he would close the border and increase oil drilling in the U.S.

Following the interview, President Joe Biden’s campaign manager Julie Chavez said in a statement, “Donald Trump has been telling us exactly what he will do if he’s reelected, and tonight he said he will be a dictator on day one. Americans should believe him.”
