California is again trying to keep former President Donald Trump off the primary ballot.  State lawmakers already called on the attorney general to push for a court ruling. 

Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis is turning to the secretary of state to explore legal options. This move follows Colorado’s ruling to ban Trump from the ballot.

Kounalakis announced in April that she is running for California Governor.
