Despite Efforts to Shelter, L.A. Could See a Wave of People Living on the Street

The number of people living on the streets of Los Angeles could be ready to increase dramatically.  Despite the efforts by the City and County to temporarily house homeless people and spending billions of dollars to do so, local leaders expect the problem to get worse.

Bass’ “Inside Safe” program claims they have provided temporary shelter for about 21-thousand people, which is about 38 percent of the City’s total homeless population.
