CA SpaceX Rocket Launches with Weather Satellite

Space-X is celebrating another successful launch from California.  A rocket blasted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base carrying a high-tech weather satellite. 

Military officials say it will provide essential data such as the measurement of ocean surface wind speed and direction, ice thickness, snow depth and soil moisture.  All of that will help meteorologists conduct mission planning and operations globally.
