California’s insurance crisis isn’t just hitting homeowners.  Turns out, Cal Fire can’t even get coverage for two fire stations because no provider will take them. 

The agency told lawmakers about this during a meeting last week, saying it’s affecting renovations at those facilities. 

Several companies are dropping customers, mainly for wildfire risk.  That includes State Farm, the biggest home insurer here, which won’t renew 30-thousand policies.
