Cars Set on Fire During Several Morning Sideshows In Oakland

Oakland Police are investigating another string of sideshows.  And this time, at least three cars were set on fire.  The dangerous driving began about midnight yesterday and lasted until 9 a.m. 

Areas included 40th Street and Broadway, under Interstate-880, 62nd Street and Claremont Avenue, Excelsior Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, 7th Street and Mandela Parkway, and High Street and Foothill Boulevard. 

Police say gunfire and fireworks were also reported at several locations.  No word how many arrests were made or citations given.
