Mayor Of Huntington Beach Responds to AG Bonta’s Voter I.D. Lawsuit

YouTube, @KCAL News.

The Mayor of Huntington Beach is responding to Sacramento’s latest lawsuit against the city.  Mayor Gracey Van Der Mark says with this Voter I.D. lawsuit, Attorney General Rob Bonta is showing that he has it in for Surf City.

Van Der Mark says that as a charter city, Huntington Beach has the right and permission from Orange County to require voters to provide identification in order to cast a ballot.

Van Der Mark admits it is getting fiscally difficult to keep fighting that state, but she says it’s her job to keep fighting for the will of the people, not the agenda of the Governor.
