A homeless man is facing charges for a stabbing outside a San Francisco church.  Witnesses report he had come inside during service yesterday and was removed.

A short time later, they say he cut a parishioner in the leg and several people held him down in the street until police arrived.

This all went down in front of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in North Beach.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is recovering.
