One person is dead after an explosion at a reproductive health center in Palm Springs, California. The blast occurred just before 11 a.m. local time at American Reproductive Centers. Palm Springs Mayor Ron DeHarte told KTLA the explosion originated in or near a vehicle parked outside the facility, and said it “was an intentional act of violence.”
Palm Springs Police say investigators are considering all possibilities, including terrorism. Governor Gavin Newsom has been briefed, and said the state’s emergency services are supporting the response. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on X that federal agents are responding as well.
