Vandals Strike Military Memorial

Officials are investigating a vandalized memorial outside of the City Hall in Paramount. The city shared a social media post yesterday that the “Battlefield Cross and Soldier” art memorial was damaged. The culprits stole a bronze rifle that was a part of the sculpture, which depicts a solider honoring a fallen colleague. The rifle was used to portray a “Soldier’s Cross.” The memorial was unveiled last November.
